“ I have visited 'La Cassina' on April 19th for my birthday. My girlfriend and her family treated me to a birthday meal. I must say this restaurant is a 'hidden gem'. The atmosphere was extremely warm and welcoming. Giuseppe and the staff really went the extra mile and served us the most amazing dinner. We had cozze (muscles), Fritto misto and so many other dishes from the set menu. I highly recommend this 'hidden gem' located in Cascina Bianca, south of Milan. If you have a car, please go there for lunch, or dinner you will not regret it. Book in advance as this place is very popular and researched and is often fully booked. I will go back there. ”

“ Ottimo locale a conduzione familiare, dove si respira l’ospitalità di casa. La famosissima “zia” è sempre cordiale e attenta a soddisfare ogni esigenza e richiesta. Il cibo è eccezionale, con sapori autentici e una cura nei dettagli che fa la differenza. Appena arrivati, abbiamo trovato sul tavolo i crostini di pane, prontamente riforniti dalla stessa “zia” ogni volta che finivano. Eravamo in quattro e non conoscevamo il locale, ma ci siamo affidati alle recensioni di altri clienti. Abbiamo deciso di provarlo e siamo rimasti entusiasti. Ecco cosa abbiamo ordinato: Antipasto: • Salumi misti Primi: • 3 tagliatelle al ragù di fassona • 1 raviolo al ragù di brasato Secondi (consigliati dalla mitica zia): • Brasato di Angus con polenta (il mio piatto preferito) • Trippa con polenta • Coniglio con patate al forno • Arrosto con patate al forno Dolci (fatti direttamente dalla zia): • 2 tiramisù classici serviti nel bicchiere • 1 tiramisù in stile crostata (molto apprezzato) Ovviamente non sono mancati acqua, vino e caffè. Vi starete chiedendo: quanto abbiamo speso? Sabato a pranzo abbiamo pagato soltanto 26€ a testa, uscendo con la pancia piena e, soprattutto, con il sorriso! Speriamo che questa recensione possa portare nuove persone a scoprire questo angolo di casa, così come ha portato noi (4 scappati di casa) in un luogo dove si viene trattati con i guanti e non manca mai nulla. Un grande GRAZIE alla zia e a tutta l’Osteria La Cassina. Torneremo presto! ”
